Discuss the process that took place in completing this task.
At the beginning of my Senior year we wrote a reflective essay in English class. It's evidence that I've learned the skills of being academically and personally accountable.
I am perfectly fine at managing projects, to guide and lead others, adapt to change, be flexible, and be responsible to others. I'm great at working independently also. In this essay you had to explain what you've learned in the past four years and what skills you will use. You had to tell about a teacher who you looked up to and helped convince you to continue to Senior year. You had to explain how you got to where you are now and what you will use in the real world.
It shows that i can manage goals and time by showing I completed the essay with a good grade. I had made goals in the past that enhanced my vocabulary and grammar. I can adapt to change because I moved from Texas to California at the end of my sophomore year. That's a huge change for me and my family which provides a lot of getting use to. I can also work independently because it's easier for me to concentrate. I can focus on me and what i need to get done. I'm responsible for myself as well as others in order to keep things balance. If your not responsible to others then they won't care much for you.

Reflective Essay:
As a Senior now at Savanna High School I feel that I'm ready to be an adult and leave high school. They have taught me how to act and live as an adult. For the last three years I've learned basic English, Math, Science skills that i will need to know for a daily bases.
When I was a freshman, just coming into high school, I remember being naive and scared. I didn't know anyone and I didn't want to seem like a loaner with no friends, the teaching skills are more advanced, so I had trouble keeping up. The teachers seemed mean because they were stricter on class work and homework. I didn't want to put up with that for four more years. I wanted to take a test and graduate already, but I didn't.
I had a teacher for Health class named Mr. Best. We called him coach Best because he was the baseball coach and he was the best, plus his last name was Best. He was laid back, easy, and nice. He made learning easy and I understood what he was teaching. He also made it fun to learn and talked to you like you were a person instead of another freshman student. He said, "If you ask someone for help, their guaranteed to help you, so don't always worry about doing your best on everything."
I want to be a Nurse when i graduated and my Health class helped me learn the basic human body. It got me interested about the body and how it works. Coach Best always had a smile on his face and taught me even if your sad, put a smile on your face, and it will make you feel better. By the time I was a Sophomore I had matured enough to act like a high school student. When I was a Junior, I was a higher class. I had made friends, learned the teaching skills, and how to write intelligently. My English teacher junior year gave me faith in writing. I sucked at writing essays and I didn't like it. We had an essay assignment one time and she took us step by step through the process of writing it. This made it easier to understand the process of an essay. At a 12th grade level writing, I learned how to write a professional paper. She taught me punctuation, word process, and how to go over and revise it. She also taught me how to write in complete sentences.
Both these teachers taught me to make it through the rest of my high school years without failure. They taught me important skills on assignments and essays to have better grades. Without their help I would have been lost on a few things, but they not only helped me but other students as well. That's why their important to me because they helped students succeed in life. Now that I'm a Senior, I have the confidence to write essays. I now know the work process and I believe I can graduate on time!
